Congratulations to Melvin Awid for the successful vanilla launching during 𝙆𝘼𝙋𝙀 𝙈𝘼𝙄𝙏𝙐𝙈: Appreciation to Specialty Arabica & Fine Robusta, a celebration of the rich coffee culture in Maitum. This event, held as part of the 22nd Binuyugan Festival and the 64th Foundation Anniversary of Maitum, was the perfect stage to introduce locally cultivated vanilla to complement the region’s finest coffee.
As the Vanilla Prince of Sarangani, Melvin continues to champion the growth and innovation of the vanilla industry, proving that there is a promising future for high-value crops in our province. The fusion of specialty coffee and premium vanilla represents the potential of agricultural diversification, paving the way for more opportunities for our local farmers and agripreneurs.
